From your first tour to move-in day, here's exactly what to expect.
- 1Schedule your tour
Tour a BumbleBee home and its available rooms in person or by video before deciding.
- 2Apply — only $15
Submit the online application and complete criminal background screening. We do not check your credit.
- 3Choose your room
After approval, use the emailed selection link to choose from rooms available at that time.
- 4Sign your lease
Review and electronically sign your month-to-month lease from your phone or computer.
- 5Set up your portal and pay
Create your Tenant Portal and follow the completed-lease email's instructions for your security deposit and prorated first month's rent.
- 6Move in
After your lease is fully signed, receive your Move-In Day email and coordinate your arrival time with your House Manager.
Usually no. If your situation is unusual we'll walk you through options — students, remote workers, and new-to-town folks are all welcome.
Your monthly rent includes furnishings, utilities (power, water, gas), high-speed Wi-Fi, and regular common-area cleaning, plus access to the shared spaces.
Minimum stay is typically a few months; most residents stay a year or more. Flexible arrangements are possible — just ask.
Yes. After your lease is signed, you'll receive instructions to create your Tenant Portal, where you can manage rent and payments.
Your completed-lease email shows the security deposit, prorated first month's rent, due date, and payment instructions for your lease.
Some houses are pet-friendly. Tell us about your buddy in the inquiry and we'll match you to the right room.
